Essential Eight in Cyber Security

A 2-hour masterclass designed for senior executives to explain the requirements of the ‘Essential Eight’.

As cyber security becomes more and more relevant in day to day business operations, many organisations find themselves not knowing how to combat cyber threats.

The Australian Cyber Security Centre has developed mitigation strategies to protect your business against threats in what has become known as the ‘Essential Eight’. Meaning the eight processes you need in place to make sure your business isn’t vulnerable to cyber security crimes.

The Essential Eight is particularly relevant if your business works with any Government bodies. And it is possible that in the near future, the Essential Eight could be mandatory for working with Government, rather than just recommended.

This master class is designed for senior executives who need a broad understanding of what it would take to implement the Essential Eight in their business, ensuring the company is protected against the very real threat of cybercrimes. We will look at the history and requirements of the Essential Eight, as well as some real-life case studies of organisations who have successfully implemented the Essential Eight.
